News
Our 125th Birthday Celebration
In honor of the celebration, the congregation put together a collection of Great Recipes. Our cookbook is currently at the printer. It will be available in March for $5. Thank you to everyone who contributed their great recipes.
Coffee Conversations
Grab a cup of coffee between services in the back of the sanctuary. Enjoy the coffee and the conversations!

Refreshments
Our ministry provides goodies after musicals and special worship services. We will have danishes and coffee on the lawn between services on Easter.

Summer Adventures
During the summer, one-service Sundays are a great way to connect with people that go to separate services. These Sundays have different themes, decorations, food and fun!

Softball
The ladies of the church play on a softball team every Spring. Softball is open to all ladies of the church from twelve years of age and up. Games are on Saturday evenings. Come and play. (Experience and/or skill not required.)

Beautiful Flowers
During Easter and Christmas, the church is decorated with wonderful lilies, tulips, and poinsettias. These are bought by the congregation to honor and remember loved ones. Orchid corsages are available during Mother's Day. Look for announcements in the church bulletin for available flowers.

All Church Family Camp
Camp E.D.G.E. (Experience and Discover God Everywhere!) Sugar Pine Christian Camps here we come! We are all part of the wonderful family of God. This camp is for everyone. Come by yourself or come with a crowd but make your way to camp on Memorial Day weekend. The goal is to spend the weekend in worship, connect with God and others, listen to incredible God stories and have some good ol' fashioned family fun. The cost of camp is covered for elementary kids and younger. Camp costs $40 for the whole weekend and $20 for only Saturday.

Harvest Dinner
The Harvest Dinner is a fundraiser for camp and mission scholarships. It is an evening of food, fun, fellowship, silent and live auctions. The Harvest Dinner is a great way to invest into the lives of our congregation. Mark the date on your calendar, October 23.

Showers of Love
Bridal and baby showers provide a wonderful opportunity to give blessings, encouragement, and wisdom. We love to welcome babies with a shower or a basket of goodies. If you know of a new baby or upcoming wedding, please contact the church office.

Donate items for new baby baskets: Diapers, wipes,
baby toiletries, onesies, outfits, sleepers, rattles,
sippy cups, blankets, towels, washcloths, etc. . .
Bring donations to the church office.
Weddings
Weddings are such a special time of celebration. Our church is available for weddings and receptions. We have our very own wedding coordinator, Staci Nelson. If you are interested in having your wedding at the First Baptist Church of Selma, please contact the church office.Prayer Chain

Funerals
We have a wonderful group in our congregation that helps with the family meal following the funeral service. This team set-ups and serves the family meal. If you would like to serve or bring food for this ministry, please contact the church office.
