Bryant was born into a Christian home in Southern California, where he lived most of his childhood until the age of 10. He and his family later moved to Bakersfield, which is where he began his relationship with the Lord. Bryant made the decision to be baptized at the age of 14, shortly after giving his heart to Christ. He attended Cal State Bakersfield, then transferred to Cal Poly Pomona, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. His wife, Marianela Borbon, is the Children’s Director here at SFBC, where they got married in April 2017.
For the past several years, he has served in ministry through worship, various youth groups, children’s programs, and outreach events. Time and time again, he has felt the Lord redirect his life back to ministry. He has learned that God often has different plans for us than the plans we have made for ourselves. We need to be faithful to his calling as He is always faithful to us. Bryant enjoys being part of the worship team, where he plays bass, drums, and guitar. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends, family, and loves trying new food.
